Customizing the home screen of your ProcessMaker BPM Software

Customizing the home screen of your ProcessMaker BPM Software is easy to do and makes for a more dynamic BPM Software experience.
I received a call from a user the other day who wanted to change the default screen he sees when he first logs in to his installation of ProcessMaker BPM Software. Business Process Management is all about how to create greater efficiency and productivity, so you can imagine why it is important to be able to customize the home page of your BPM Software.
If you are using ProcessMaker as your Workflow Software Solution, it is easy to customize the home page. After you login to your ProcessMaker BPM Software, click on your username in the upper right hand corner (see image #1).
Next, you will see your user Profile Page. Click “Edit” in the upper right hand corner to open your user profile page.

Once you open the edit user profile screen, you will then need to scroll down to the “Default Menu Option” in the Preferences section at the end of the screen. Here you can select which tab you would like to display after you log in to your BPM Software home page. If you select your “Home” tab as the default, you can also select which “Cases Inbox” you would like to see by default.
For example, you could specify that you want to login to your Pentaho Reports Dashboard when you first log in, or you might prefer to see your Advanced Search page first. The Workflow Software understands that not all users work the same way, and that it is important to be able to customize the home screen.
This is a simple tip, but it can make your user experience inside your BPM Software much more convenient.

On the last screen capture, there’s almost no more place to display PM web site..LOL !! It would be great to crop it..
Best regards from France
