ProcessMaker 2.0.29 Release: You Can Safely Forget Your Password

I still remember having forgotten my administrator password once in a while. I could always find the tricky way to manually reset it.
Good news! Now you can just click on the “Forgot password” link to reset your password. The 2.0.29 release, which is available at SourceForge, comes with many features and improvements, as listed below.
New Features
- I forgot my password.
- Dependent fields with auto-suggest.
Improvements
- Advanced search: the process list filter is now improved to support long process names.
- Toolbar: the Dynaform editor’s icons have been revisited.
- Dynaform view-only mode improvement and clean up.
- Chinese characters from MS SQL backend stored in UTF 16 now display correctly.
- Events can now be triggered from starting activities.
Bug fixes. Among the 65 bugs fixed in this release we can mention the following ones:
- Many issues with dependent fields.
- Report tables can now be imported from .pm files.
- Issue when exporting a process containing sub-processes.
- “Save label” for dropdowns is now always enabled.
- Issues when deleting Output Documents solved.
Known issues. Please take in mind a few known issues in this release:
- Language files other than English and Spanish should be updated.
- Some issues related to Chrome, Firefox 4, and Internet Explorer 9 are still under scrutiny.
- Calculation of due date issues, specially in Windows environments.
- Task notification custom subject from .pm files is not being imported.
- Processes designed in languages other than English can not start cases. A quick workaround for this bug is to access the process definition in English just once.
What’s next?
Forecoming releases will include the following improvements:
- Admin interface: we will include and improve interfaces to configure time zones, memory usage, and password policies.
- Skins: an import/export utility will be added to ease customization of skins.
- Input and Output Documents: we’re working on versioning support, enhanced search, and tag clouds.
- Facebook: a notification trigger will be available.
- MS SQL Server backedn support.
- BPMN Editor: we’re working hard on the next version of our redefined Process Map.
