Most Recent ProcessMaker Wiki Updates

The ProcessMaker support team have added their most recent entries to our Wiki pages this week.  These provide lots of new information that either wasn’t previously featured or was out of date.

In addition to these newest entries, our Support team is also beginning to provide the ProcessMaker Wiki pages in Spanish – Due to a high number of requests from the Latin American community members.  While this will take some time, the Spanish pages have started to appear on the wiki pages.  We hope our Latin American community members benefit from the continued hard work of the ProcessMaker Support Team.

Configuration:

Plugins 2.X: Plugins allow additional functionality and interface customization to be added to ProcessMaker. Brief description of how to import and configure plugins for version 2.0 and later is now updated.

Calendars 2.X: Inside ProcessMaker is possible to manage Calendars, which allow users create and set up Calendars to be applied into new process. Brief description of Calendars for version 2.0 and later is now updated.

Users Manual

[updated]  Dashboards 2.0.X: The ProcessMaker dashboard provides realtime monitoring of the efficiency and productivity of processes and users executing those processes. Managers and supervisors can use the dashboard to check up on the productivity of employees and measure how well departments are functioning. Dashboars are implemented again on version 2.0.34 since were out from versions before.

Designers Manual

Events 2.0: Most actions in a process are executed in response to the user, but sometimes an action needs to be executed according to a specific timing in the process. In ProcessMaker, events are actions which execute relative to the time when a task or a series of tasks begins or ends. Since new options were added into events brief description of how to set up them for version 2.032  are now updated.

Data Integration

[updated]  Pm Tables 2.0: PM Tables are designed for users who do not wish to go through the hassle of maintaining an external database. Even users who have external databases may find PM Tables handy for quickly creating data which will be used in their DynaForms or reports. New features were added from version 2.0 and later so the information is updated.

Zimbra: The ProcessMaker Zimlet allows users to navigate their ProcessMaker Home area directly from their Zimbra mail screen. Inside ProcessMaker triggers were implmented to interact with Zimbra mail screen.

Pentaho Reports: Pentaho Reporting is an open source business intelligence suite providing advanced reporting, analysis and data mining, which is very useful when analyzing the efficiency and productivity of your organization using ProcessMaker. ProcessMaker Enterprise Edition provides an integration with Pentaho Reporting, so that the power and flexibility of Pentaho Reporting can be accessed inside the ProcessMaker interface. The creation of Pentaho Reports for ProcessMaker is now updated.
